GWA Travels the Trails in Spring
Group

Your Grand Worthy Advisor, Sis. Danielle Dunmire, has been one busy traveller over the last few weeks. She has been from one side of the commonwealth to the other, visiting Assemblies, and bringing the idea of Rainbow to Masons everywhere.

She started her journey on March 6, where she visited with New Castle Assembly No. 1, and their brand new Pledge Group, Care-a-Lot. This was also Danielle's chance to support Sis. Tara Miller, Grand Confidential Observer, during her Installation. Following the meeting the Assembly held a dinner and dance to raise money for the GWA's charity, the Starlight Children's Foundation.

The next day, March 7th, saw Sister Danielle at Hope Assembly No. 186, where she attended their Luau Luncheon, played Luau bingo, made favors for the local

Meals on Wheels, and belted out some karaoke tunes. It was certainly a fun way to spend the afternoon!

Back on the road again, Danielle found herself at Moshannon Valley No. 131, in Phillipsburg, PA. There she was greeted warmly by the members after which she presented a "Juke Box" of songs selected by the members. The young ladies then explained why they chose the songs they did and how they connected to Rainbow. Following the meeting everyone enjoyed 50's style milk shakes and cake.

After a brief respite, Danielle headed down to Wilkes-Barre Assembly No. 45 to hang out with the Sisters and make bracelets to sell for Danielle's charity. The members of the Assembly presented Danielle with a check for $100 dollars to into the charity fund.

March 14th was a double header with the GWA heading south, first to Harrisburg No. 85, then east to Reading No. 33. At Harrisburg, Danielle and the girls decorated flower pots for residents of the Masonic Villages, which they then planted with flowers and delivered to the residents. Smiles were included free of charge of course! Danielle and the girls then had a fabulous lunch at Flavers Restaurant in Elizabethtown. Once finished, Danielle swung over to Reading to enjoy some bowling with the members, who were preparing for the Grand Assembly bowling tournament. Their getting good - so watch out! Afterwards, pizza, cupcakes, and fellowship were had by all!

So where will the GWA be next? Go to your Assembly meeting and find out!
